Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Know the best time to travel and enjoy the traditions and customs of our city.

Named by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, it is the lost Inca city that was brought to light by Hiram Bingham in 1911. It can be reached by hiking the Inca Trail or by train.

Machu Picchu

The Inca temple and magnificent terraces of Pisac are comparable to few others. Pisac also has a bustling handicraft market in its main square, offering a wide array of beautiful textiles and hand-made items of all types.

Two charming villages that are homes to beautiful Spanish colonial churches, built around 1600 A.D. The San Pedro church of Andahuaylillas is known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, with beautiful gold plated alters and original hand painted frescos; Original colonial pipe organs are still intact.

Andahuaylillas y Huarco

Known as the living Inca village, Ollantaytambo still preserves the walls, houses, and water channels built by the Incas. Here, an impressive archeological military, religious, and agricultural complex is also located, as well as the train station to Machu Picchu.

Four perfectly constructed circular terrace sites challenge the imagination as to their purpose; the most popular theory is that this complex served as an Incan agricultural experimental center, to grow different types of plants.

An incredible Inca salt mine, whose salt pools are situated on different terraces, and still used for salt extraction today.

Enjoy magnificent scenery by rafting down the Urubamba River.

Adventure sports
